Pleasantries and handshakes are warmly exchanged
Smiles light up and nerves start to fade
Strangers no more, their acquaintance is made
Inside his pocket, he awkwardly fumbles
He’s speaking, but she hears only mumbles
He gladly presents his business card with pride
Wow, speak her eyes, impossible to hide
An impression is formed, unspoken, yet instinctual
A relationship is born, from this classic ritual
When choosing his cards, he knew what to do
He opted for quality and style, you should too
Some covet the cheap and nasty, yet in the end
The true victors are those, who refuse to blend
