Signage Production Manager at Nettl of Dublin

We are looking for a sign expert and experienced leader to continue the growth of our Nettl of Dublin production hub. A business-minded person who is highly organised, innovative, and detail-oriented.

Nettl is a global network of signage, design and print studios. Our Dublin 24 production hub is connected to our other locations in Dublin city centre, Manchester, Exeter, Liverpool and Birmingham as well as our 200+ network partners via our proprietary software.

Our Dublin production team works closely with our city centre marketing and design studio, together, the studio and production work with businesses across all industries to produce everything a business needs to create effective marketing.

What is the role?

Supported by our performance team, you’ll work with Dublin’s production to further grow our business and develop our team. Leading your team in creating, improving, and implementing processes to drive efficiency, productivity and exceptional customer service.

Leading by example, you’ll be key in developing the strengths of your team, streamlining production processes and driving collaboration.

You will gain an in-depth understanding of your clients’ businesses and build strong relationships with them. You will identify ways to resolve the challenges they face and build upon their points of strength. You will coach this same approach among your team.

You will effectively manage your team to quote and deliver projects on time and within budget. You will organise the day-to-day running of the production hub including managing sub-contractors, stock management and supplier relationships.

Supported by and reporting to our performance team, you will be responsible for the performance of the production hub. Along with that support team and your store team, you’ll be expected to analyse production performance and put steps in place to further grow areas of strength and improve areas of weakness.

Location

You would be based in our Dublin 24 location and work in a team setting with our signage account management and production team.

Responsibilities & Experience:

  • Prepare and organise jobs for production and install
  • Keep all information pertaining to projects and customers accurately updated in the company CRM
  • Ensure stock and resource planning is appropriate and source best price from suppliers
  • Define project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities
  • Identify resource requirements (materials and labour) and manage fitting availability with both internal team and external fitters
  • Maintain a budget based on requirements and track costs
  • Prepare detailed project plans to schedule key project milestones & activities
  • Ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner and to a high level of quality
  • Track projects and provide regular reports on project status to the team and key stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate risks which may impact successful delivery of project
  • Manage the relationship and communication between the client and the team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service
  • Perform high quality surveys
  • Prepare estimates and quotes
  • Promote the Nettl range of products and services
  • Manage key customer relationships
  • Ensure onsite compliance and arrange equipment hire

Skills & Experience:

  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role within the signage industry.
  • Organised with an eye for detail and quality
  • Energetic, quick to learn, and self-motivated
  • A good communicator, both orally and in writing
  • Works well remotely and within a team
  • Good computer skills, with experience in CorelDraw & Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of industry-standard print rip software
  • Knowledge of running wide format printers
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Safe Pass & MEWP
