Houghtons Chartered Accountants are a modern accountants based in Stockport, Chorlton and Bolton and offer a fresh approach to accountancy, they provide everything accounts-wise a business old or new needs to grow. Their previous website was one of the first we developed in 2016 and was starting to look tired.
As part of the website refresh, Nettl of Stockport took this opportunity to reassess Houghtons branding and look. The challenge was that the old colorways didn’t reflect this modern and fresh accountants, the imagery used wasn’t communicating clearly with the user and the old logo had its limitations when used digitally.
The outcome was this fresh, zingy and minimal website with a strong emphasis on the user. The updated colourways nod to Houghtons previous branding but now exhibit a modern accountancy firm. The photography now reflects the target audience, depicting startups and SME business owners. The refreshed logo is a simple, no-fuss version of their previous emblem, perfect for using digitally and in print.
Houghtons love their new simple and modern look website, what was once a subdued, unfocused, and corporate looking design is now a fresh, dynamic, and user friendly website!
